Hi,
Very nice entry! I have wanted to get dual monitors for my laptop and have even gone to Apple to ask and they tell me that only one external monitor can be plugged to the mac laptop… so how did you you connect two monitors to your mac laptop?

Very very nice list. I’m a free lance designer. I have dual monitors, but there not the best. When I get the money I’ll hope to upgrade! I actually kinda like the glasses,lol

I’m definitely a fan of the dual monitor set up but also have a 24in imac at work and spaces works just fine! Whatever floats your boat!

Some interesting tips, but, it is strange to see that many survey says that multiple monitors increase productivity : I read exactly the opposite trough many productivity-oriented-blogs those days; prefer a large monitor, do not launch too many apps and use TwoUp of Irradiated Software to have a really productive area… I’ve worked for years with a dual monitor, and now since 6 month with just a 26″ monitor, and it’s really better.
I think Things from Cultured Code is better than Omnifocus, especially more focus oriented :)
You miss a tool, JumpCut, a multi ctrl-c ctrl-v clipboard manager, really really handy.
Also Quicksilver, the Mac app launcher.
And, also Evernote : bug tracker, note tracker, link pool, moodboard, tips and tricks, PDF container.

@Michel: Your not the only one. I wouldn’t mind the machine powering them either, bet it’s a Mac Pro.

Thats another thing people should do to be more productive – buy a Mac.
