Chris Coyier and Jeff Starr over at digwp.com have finally released the much anticipated “Digging into WordPress” book! I personally purchased it when it came out, I haven’t fully read it yet, however I have flicked through all the chapters and let me tell you; this is 400 pages worth investing in. It’s great for beginners and even experienced Wordpess users! I highly recommend picking yourself up a copy for only $27, at the moment it is only available in PDF format however they say a print format is forthcoming. You also receive a lifetime subscription and any updates to the addition will become available to you.

One super cool tip you can use with CSS3 is editing the opacity of images, text etc. I’ve been using it to subtly change opacities of images and their hover states, and it is as simple as it sounds. See example.
The Code
#image { opacity: 0.8;}
#image:hover { opacity: 1.0; }

Have you ever wanted to switch to a tool that is in sub-menu of the “shortcut” without clicking and holding the icon? Well if you simply hold SHIFT and then the “SHORTCUT KEY” of the tool it will scroll through all tools that are in the category, thus selected your desired tool.
